Happens every year. Then you have the Twitter accounts that change their logos to rainbows where gay people already have support and do nothing where gay people don't have support. To me, it would make more sense for companies to change their logos in Russia, Middle East, etc. to rainbows to show they honestly and truthfully support them but we know they don't, they just want money.
Most people in the US don't give a crap who is screwing who so long as it is legal and consensual. There are other areas where these people actually need support and help.
Agreed, the places where they can be sentenced to death for being gay, or like Iran, where they force gay men to get sex changes so they can marry them off to some rapist or force them to live on the streets with no support.
Those are places where pride support would make a difference, but the US, the UK, France, etc...acceptance is perfectly fine in those countries, mostly. So long as you're not kiddie fiddling or going after animals, most people are fine with people being with whoever they want.
I may be pointing out the obvious here, but this is because being gay is a sexual orientation, and pedophilia and beastiality is just a sick fetish. Not to mention gay people just like other gay people, whereas pedophiles lust after children and beastophiles lust after animals, not pedophiles and beastophiles respectively. On top of this, you can't consent with children or animals.
Correct, but there are those who would like to legitimize both, and thankfully, that has not as yet gone forward, and hopefully never will!
