I remember watching and thinking "Wow, this Hit guy is something else!". The fact that he could manipulate time and was a hit-man was a cool concept.
Then we had good ol' Goku put a hit out on himself and see that Goku learned a way of defeating him. I feel like this was a bit rushed. It kind of made Hit look weaker in the long run.
Come time for the ToP, we see him getting wiped on the floor by Jiren. Leading up to this point, I was assuming Hit would play a big role in the end but nope.
I don't understand why you'd beef up a character only to make them look like a pushover shortly after.
