Dang. Anything in particular triggering it?
I think I caused a magnesium deficiency by eating too much sugar and drinking coffee daily. I was eating a butt-ton of sugar and I haven't been sleeping well from pain (I have lower back and hip pain). Started having panic attacks where I would tense up my stomach very hard and had trouble eating. I think that made my stomach have issues. So I have to stay calm so it can heal.

Been having bad anxiety and unable to sleep for a good 10+ days. Started having stomach issues. Pain, acid up my throat, etc. so I've been worrying about that. Went to the ER today. Got told I was perfectly healthy. Going to likely be a $3,500 bill. Yay, anxiety!
Damn ERs, so expensive and when it's a something "simple" they make you feel like an idiot for seeking help

Sorry to hear your anxiety is kicking up. I know how badly that hurts when it takes hold. I hope you feel better soon!

The magnesium lotion I told you about seems to be calming me down which is good. I was using some that was expired but my new bottle came today. Used it twice on my legs and feel a lot calmer.

How is your life going at the moment?
Fairly consistent. Bouts of depression, struggles with a mother whose happy as can be one minute and then either blinding rage or miserable sadness the next, lost another couple of friends because of my transition, it's fun :)

How about yourself?

Magnesium deficiency can cause muscle cramping, lethargy, heart arrhythmias, tinnitus, mental abnormalities, tremors, esophageal spasms (which can lead to heart burn), low calcium levels (which can effect bone strength), and other mental and musculoskeletal problems. These things seem to be what ails America the most and, yet, this mineral is mostly ignored.
So... I think my issue was likely esophageal spasms which ended up causing acid reflux. It is crazy how many things magnesium does in the body. Something like 300 different things.

And based on what I have read, it seems that sugar in and of itself doesn't cause things like diabetes at all. Nor does it cause tooth decay. A prolonged magnesium deficiency does and a diet high in sugar will cause the defeciency. The standard American diet actually increases the chances of having a deficiency as well and it is estimated over 50% of the country has a deficiency and are feeling different effects from it. By not treating it, it leads to more health issues. No wonder this lotion is calming me down and making me feel better. Going to try an oral supplement tonight to see if it helps with sleep.

I've ordered the lotion, so fingers crossed!
