Yeah, I haven't seen a new episode in a few years (I still re-watch the old stuff over and over), but I might give it a go.
Only if it's just to appreciate the beautiful animation style.
To be fair, I don't really get the obsession over Death Note. I enjoyed the chase at the time, but not enough to watch it again.
- Julie Kavner (Marge) is definitely ageing out... her voice is more than a noticeable change to 20 years ago, even 5 years ago whenever the last episode I watched was.
- The Death Note parody is done quite well (Lisa is Light)
All in all it was pretty enjoyable, and poked fun at how the show itself has declined in quality. Definitely the best new episode I've seen since about season 17.
