Dragon Ball: Daima - Episode 2

Episode Summary:
Goku and his friends have been turned small due to Gomah's scheme. They begin preparing to go to the demon world. Goku collects his Nyoibo and looks forward to a new adventure. Then the mysterious young Majin Glorio appears.
 
- Hearing their "kid" voices is very trippy
- Stephanie Nadolny is a welcome return, but it's very clear that she's either out of practice, or aged a bit. Her Goku voice is just a little unpolished compared to 20 years ago. Not surprising (even South Park voices are starting to sound off), but I'm just glad she's back.

Same i just got crunchyroll again im on ep 12!
Sadly i was spoiled (As Always) At a new form Can io just for once not get spoiled on forms?
(I switched to disney + for christmas and used it too watch a lot more Bleach and deadpool and wolverine!)

Its Absolutly a state that these so called "Dragonball Fans" Would rather watch and discuss z Filler Movies, Powerlevels and other Stuff like that then Toriyamas Final Work!
Come On Its Out in English Beerus and everyone else get to it!

Also yeah it starts a bit slow but so what so did every Z Arc Except the Saiyan Arc!

Again, a lot of these fans are only watching in English which is only 2 episodes in (or 3 if you happened to catch the movie priemiere). I assume Beerus is waiting until it's all (or mostly) available rather than watching 20 minutes at a time once a week.

Besides that, there's a couple of "oh neat" things in the first two episodes, but... not a lot really happens. We get a bit of background exposition, simple lore drops about Namekians... not really much else.

As for "Toriyama's final work" - sure, but it also doesn't mean that it's necessarily great. I don't hate it, by any means, but I'm currently not excited enough about it that I have to dissect every frame of it.

But it IS Great!
I watched up to episode 12 and the only issues i have are some retcons over than that the show Slaps!
Again it has a slower start! Ep 4 is the first really great one! But Episode 3 is also really good!
Also beerus will 100% get heavily spoiled if she waits till May or so to watch it!

Retcons generally diminish a story. I think we can rightfully criticise Toriyama for that.

I mean, I get it. I like Dragon Ball GT. This is Dragon Ball. I'll watch it. But the problem is it's hard to get excited about something until we actually get there.

We aren't 10 anymore. We know Toriyama has something setup (again, it's Dragon Ball), but many of us older fans are busy thinking about real life (or at the very least other media that is readily available and consumable). When we get up to the cool things, we promise we will inform you.

She's a grown woman (who I don't think has even read the DBS manga). I think she'll be okay. :krillinpalm:
 
These voices are throwing me off. And what is up with Goku just falling right back into place as being a kid? lol

And Gohan is somewhere as a child again and no one thought to check on him? :haha:
