Correct. Because Frieza trained for a few minutes* and got a new form.
*That arc revealed there are extra Hyperbolic Time Chambers dispersed in the galaxy. Frieza found one and trained there a while.
Interesting. Do you think frieza went back to train more? Also, do you think he would be able to beat the Theoretical fusion of Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta?
Since that hasn't been brought out as an option, it's not likely. Formulaicly, Fusions always completely wreck whomever they're fighting. That's why they're never allowed to win.
Frieza explicitly said he spent 10 years training in the chamber, but didn't say he was going back for more. Since he effortlessly beat Goku and Vegeta in their most powerful forms, he probably sees no reason to go back and train more.
Yeah, he is pretty cocky to be honest. I don't see him going back for more unless he lost.
