So... we really did get a remaster and 50 Skyrim re-releases before TES6.

Honestly, Oblivion is one of my favourite games, so I jumped at a chance to get it. I've only just finished the tutorial and arbitrarily chose another city to head to (ignoring the main quest). The remaster really captures a lot of the charm that the original release had, but fixes a lot of issues and makes it just that much prettier. That said, I still kind of like the original version.

Either way, I'm looking forward to playing through again.

Also while we're here, all the original DLC is included in the base game, but they really did include a Deluxe version that includes freaking Horse Armour!

These changes just put me off from games. We can't just have male and female options anymore because a tiny percentage of players might be offended by biology. They made a mod to change it back and it lasted 5 minutes on Nexus Mods before it was removed.

Nexus is so awful. I'm pretty certain the catalyst was the mod to remove the pride flags from Spider-Man - which wasn't even a texture change, it flipped a flag to say it was being played in Saudi Arabia. Mods to change the American flag to anything, were fine. I believe one of the other early trailblazers was the mod to change the trans witch's voice in Hogwarts Legacy.

There's a site called BasedMods which lets people upload whatever the hell they want (with some unsavoury consequences of freedom). That mod is present there.

Yeah there are some... bad mods. Even on Nexus. Dealing with children. I have seen it because a lot of people said they were outraged to see basically pedophilia mods being okay on there but changing a pride flag is an immortal sin. I am just sick of all this crap. The stuff that should be optional with mods is being forced on everyone and the people that just want normal things in games are being viewed as horrific people. 2 + 2 = 5 to these people, they are nuts.
