I guess they are putting real sugar back in Coke and since it is really the only pop I drink on a regular basis (not so much anymore cause I cut way back) I am happy about this. Idk why they haven't done this already. Coke in Mexico uses real sugar. I might buy it more again if this is the case. I was getting a 12 pack every other week for a while and stopped in May.

Trump saying it is one thing though. I will believe it when I see it.

I would like them to get rid of caramel color as well. I think it being clear isn't an issue. They could use other dye.

If true, cool. But yeah like you I'll believe it when it happens.

They for a time sold real super Coke here. Like within the last 15ish years. I remember having it. Same with Pepsi, and my beloved Dr Pepper.

Pepsi has a version with real sugar. Jay gets it now and then. I don't like Pepsi.

I saw the Dr Pepper throwback one online but they never sold it around here.

I'm not sure if the Pepsi one is still sold around here. I never see it. It still in a white can?

The stores near me sell glass bottled Coke from Mexico that uses real sugar. It's my go-to.

Yeah I get it now and then but they will be switching it all over to real sugar so we won't have to pay extra for it anymore. I think it is best in a glass but second to that are ice cold cans. I don't like it in plastic.

This is making more sense now. SNAP is removing junk food, primarily sugar drinks, candies, pasties, cookies, chips, etc.

So this means Coke will lose up to 25% of their sales (which are from people on state benefits) so they are switching to real sugar to hopefully get healthier people to buy it again.

Tastes way better. I'm glad this is going to be a thing. Never should have switched.

Update:

Coke will be releasing "a version" of coke with real sugar, similar to what Pepsi does. Likely in cans and bottles. If they end up charging more like the Mexican imported Coke, then I am going to be pissed. lol

It is coming out this Fall.

Mexican Coke ftw!
I am assuming this will be phased out unless they just keep it cause they use glass. I would imagine Coke with real sugar will have the standard cans, the mini cans, and the 16.9 oz plastic bottles to compete with Pepsi.

I mean this is all I have ever seen for sale for the Pepsi anyways.
