So I am probably fairly late to this story. I just read about it.



He posted this video and after 4 years, a woman responded with :

That is now his wife and they have a child together.

I was reading about it. A lot of people say she did it for a green card. She is from Argentina. She was a former model. She quit her job to stay with him longer in Sweden. He doesn't have a lot of money. I think she just genuinely was attracted to him.

Look, that's a possibility, but with all the Passport Bros out there... it's not like she didn't have options.

A guy I know, who is somewhat unpleasant largely related to him being a bit further on the spectrum***** recently got married to a Philippino girl who is genuinely much prettier than he deserves. My friends (who used to live with him) say she's equipped to deal with him (I think she is trained to deal with autistic people) and wants to take care of him so... I mean, it happens. I think she genuinely otherwise likes him. And they have a kid coming apparently. :serious:



*****Also my first interactions with him were he liked my first girlfriend and she was friendly with him (but not at all interested), so he was rather unpleasant towards me. He also fancied himself a chess master, and got a bit pissy when I beat him in the first and only game we played.

Some ladies have baggage and just go for guys that aren't conventionally attractive for one reason or another. I know it is possible here but I would like to think this is one of the cases that isn't that.
