Favorite/Best Female Character?

In terms of female characters for the series, which would you say is your favorite or the best overall?

I would imagine most will say Bulma since she has been a part of the series since the beginning and holds a really intelligent and strongminded role in the story. There are also a lot of Android 18 fans out there as well and it is easy to understand why. She is a confident powerhouse of a lady (sort of?) who kicks butt and takes names. We have had some new female characters join the series thanks to Super so I want to see what people think.

I would also have to go with Bulma. Her character has been developed better than any other female character, partially due to being around from the very beginning.

On a side note, if anyone seriously suggests Chi-Chi, I will eat my shoe. She was annoying as a kid. She was annoying as a young adult. And she's a super annoying, naggy, mega-bitch now. Completely useless character who I also blame for Gohan's plight.

I think Toriyama hates her as well lol The only time I like her is when Goku shows a soft side towards her but she usually ruins it pretty fast.

Oh gosh I could not stand that woman. Now every time I see Chi-chi I will be thinking of her LOL!

Oh absolutely. Goku doesn't know how to be romantic or affectionate like Gohan. Hell, even Vegeta has more sense of affection with Bulma. lol

It can't really be anyone other than Bulma, she's just been given so much attention within the story arcs that she is the most well-rounded female character. They started doing that at times with Videl, as well, but then that sort of just...ended. That's a bit of a shame, same with Pan. Despite the abject failure that is DBGT, Pan could have been the saving grace of it, had they actually developed her character a bit more, but nope...whiny kid helping out grandpa. So yeah, it's Bulma and it probably always will be.

I think the only one who comes close to matching her is Android 18 in terms of character fanbases. Very few like Chi-chi, some like Videl, Launch is still liked for people who only enjoyed Dragon Ball... Not much to choose from. We have the new female characters in DBS but they need more development I think.

Videl had so much potential. She literally trained with a Saiyan. She could have been stronger than Krillin. Such a waste of a good character.

I disagree. Videl was an average human and only grew stronger with the help of a Saiyan, there's a difference between that and her potential as a fighter. Chi Chi was a lot stronger than Videl during the Pilaf Arc and far stronger than her during the 23rd Budokai Arc, even after she trained under Gohan. Even I don't think Chi Chi had potential to be stronger than Krillin, especially after Krillin got some of his potential unlocked during the Namek Arc.

Goku wasn't even trying there. This doesn't really give much proof that Chi Chi is stronger. Maybe physically stronger, but with all factors weighed in, I'm not sure she would win a fight against Videl. And we don't really have a comparison for Spopovich since he only fought Videl. Anyway, I searched the web and there seems to be a whole lot of debate about this with valid points on both sides. So, I guess we'll just have to leave it at that.

Some say Spopovich is the reason Videl gave up martial arts because she realized there were going to be men much stronger than her that she can't ever beat. Unlike her delusional father who thinks he can beat anyone lol That and once you get married and start having babies, priorities change. They changed for Chi-chi as well. The only one that didn't change much was Bulma but she is married to a prince and is a billionaire. She also had her parents to constantly look after Trunks.

Android 18 is the best because she's motivated to take care of her family financially, she's good looking, she can cook, and she's the strongest out of any of the Saiyan wives.
