I do have to say i really wish we would get a base only kid goku?
Like gt goku has so many transformations and stuff like genki dama and diagonal kame hame ha!
Like maybe make a daima and og db hybrid kid goku?
With nimbus, his sick ass daima powerpole moves a base kame hame ha ult, rock paper scisors, oozaru fist!
Add a db and daima costume and i feel we have every goku we need like forever!

I mean you do need most major gokus in a game!
Like base, ssj, blue, mui, kid and ssj4 are very big parts of the franchise!
We dont know if they release more characters?
I do think beast gohan, orange piccolo, the gammas, gomah and ssj3 vegeta are pretty likely!
If you ask which characters they have right now here:
Dude hes the main character and all his forms in this game are incredibly important to the series!
I'm not questioning the fact he's a main character. But when you're dealing with an arcade fighter like this - where it's its own self-contained story - you don't really need 100 of him. The game just needs to be balanced with all the characters. You can't say "you need all of them" and then still have Yamcha or Roshi capable of defeating Blue Vegito.
It's not like Sparking where you're actively covering the whole thing and so it makes sense to make a Kid Goku, a Saiyan-Saga, Namek, etc. (although even then, they can probably still successfully do it while cutting back on it).
But not only do some dramtic finnishes exist you also wanna be able to fight freeza as ssj goku, hit as blue, jiren as mui kuririn or yamcha as kid or super baby 2 as ssj4!
Like obviously you dont need 1 to 1 matches!
Also goku has the most moveset potential of every character!
They already combined ssj 1-3 into ssj, base and kaioken, blue and kaioken blue, ui and mui, and db aswell as gt base-ssj4!
This game had 5 actual gokus all from vastly diffrent points in the series with vastly diffrent abilitys!
Now i would get what youre talking about if they added ssj 2,3, god, ui sign, 23rd tournament goku and the like but they didnt!
Also i do like having a kid goku in the roster and probably wouldnt habe picked up the game if it didnt have one!
And gt goku from fighters amalgams 5 gokus into 1 which is a bit too much imo so splitting him into a base and transforming kid goku seems very reasonable!
That would be 7 gokus total which would rep the entire series very well as of this point!
I would rather complain about having 2 abdroid 21s, 3 gogetas/vegitos and 2 zamasus (yes goku black is a zamasu)
But... that's why we have the Sparking series. Arcade fighters are literally meant to just be a handful of characters pitted against each other. They don't require 500 Gokus.
It’s good to see Android 21 returning. I feel like she was wasted potential in the first game.
I think this is still the same game!
But they did give her a snazy new labcoat form as dlc!
I mean vegeta didnt have that many big forms missing prior to daima/Superheroes!
Unless you count majin or blue evolved which are somewhat coverd by blue and ssj!
And if youre saying they should have done so then we also needed ssj 3 gpku and 4 gt goku aswell as base adult goku and base kid goku!
What to say goku just has more forms then vegeta?
Piccolo yeah 100% shouldve had king piccolo!
We couldve also gotten kid gohan and goten/trunks but nobody asked for them!
Remember dlc stopped before superhero!

fr, goku this goku that. Ngl we need a new soh trunks or somethin like orange piccolo or god toppo
Orange piccolo comes anyways!
And im Definitly against god toppo!
Like GOD Toppo only appeared in the anime not in the manga!
So lets add normal toppo with ultimate turning him into GOD Toppo that is a very good choice!
Super trunks could be added sure but again a lot of the stuff he does is anime only (again)
so i think him being SSJ 2 instead of rage is better!
