DBF Community Chat Thread

I didn't think it was thread worthy, I was just trying to strike up a conversation. However, I shall take your advice and create a thread. Which forum should it be posted in?

You can put it in the news/politics section. I can make a prefix for topics like this actually. They are more serious in nature but don't classify as a "theory".

I added a "Mysteries" prefix to the section. So that is for anything that falls under "Unsolved crime cases, mysterious events, unexplained phenomenon."

I would have loved to seen Panic at the Disco but unfortunately for me, they retired

And @Giga Hertz, Skillet is a good band. Funny enough they are from my hometown but they don't play shows here. I hope to get a chance to see them one day

In Wisconsin?

I think when they're not touring, John and Korey are somewhat involved with their church. I think they otherwise don't really like to draw too much attention in their private lives, so I can't blame them for avoiding home tours.

They were originally from here and the band formed here, and then they set off on their adventure.

I do think they are missing an opportunity though, they would have a lot folks come see them if they came

I used to go all the time. Music Midtown in ATL was the shit! One year they had Saliva and Godsmack back to back!

Thank the last one I went to was when Coheed and Cambria played. At least the big stars.

Been to several indy concerts though.

Concerts I've seen, I have these listed on my concert archives profile.

1. Star Wars in Concert
2. Star Trek in Concert
3. Elton John
4. The Rolling Stones (had to travel to St. Louis)
5. The Who
6. Seether
7. Foreigner
9. Aerosmith (went to Boston to see them at Fenway Park)
10. Styx
11. Journey/Toto
12. Wayne Newton (went to Las Vegas)
13. Sting (Las Vegas)
14. REO Speedwagon
15. Shinedown/Three Days Grace/From Ashes to New
16. .38 Special
17. Robert Plant and Alison
18. Stevie Nicks (went to Atlanta for this one)
19. 3 Doors Down
20. Offspring/Sum 41/Simple Plan
21. Lindsey Stirling
22. Goo Goo Dolls
23. Kansas
24. Fall Out Boy / Jimmy Eat World
25. Gavin DeGraw
26. Chicago / Earth, Wind & Fire
27. Green Day / The Smashing Pumpkins / Rancid
28. KC and the Sunshine Band
29. Jeff Lynne's ELO
30. AC/DC / The Pretty Reckless
31. Kansas / .38 Special / Jefferson Starship (Only saw Jefferson Starship cause a huge storm cancelled the rest of the show, and I only went to see them)
32. Third Eye Blind
33. Creed / Daughtry
34. Papa Roach / Rise Against
35. Trans-Siberian Orchestra (Seen them 4 times)

I got tickets for 5 concerts this year: My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, Guns and Roses (going back to St. Louis), Robert Plant & Evanescence

So I guess I've been to a few concerts. Some of the shows had some decent opening acts but some of them had some cringe worthy acts, that still give me nightmares to this day.
