I am not sure if there is a thread about this or not, if so I apologize in advance.

I wanted to create a thread where we share our workout goals and what we are doing at the moment.

I'm 41 and no where near what I was 10 years ago. I was probably in my best shape from 25 to 31 years old. This was during a time where I had to be in good shape because I spent a lot of time in the middle east back then. Thats when I cut up and focused on speed and endurance. Before that, I was bulked up playing football.

Anyway, I havent been hitting the gym like I used to, and I'm going to try and get up at 4 AM to go do some cardio in the morning. I'm going to try to do some strength training 3 or 4 times a week. Going to reach for 12,000 steps a day too. So yeah, I got to get back in shape. Going to try and cut out sodas and energy drinks. I read that drinking a glass of water right after you wake up helps boost your metabolism and helps cleanse your body. Hopefully I dont quit after a few days.

Anyway, what are your goals? Do you have a routine? Or would you like to share what you done that day?

Let's make Vegeta proud yall!

I'm currently about 92kg (~200 lb)

Thats a good weight. Done put me to shame this morning!

Anyway, I did get up and go get my 30 mins of Cardio in this morning. Cold as hell outside and was regretting my decisions when I got about 3 minutes in on the exercise bike. Now I'm felling great and I havent even taken any of my four medications yet!

You got this guys!

Good luck with the goal.

For me I use the X3 bar.

But I've been slacking TBF & vegeta would definitely tell me off.

Gotta get back into it.

To go even further beyond.

I'm 26 and feel old lol

The water thing (drinking water first thing after waking) has other benefits. I started doing it last year but with moving, a lot of my healthier habits fell off. I am back to drinking it in the AM though.

Vitamin D3 is important for all sorts of stuff so if you think you could be deficient (something like 60% of the country is) get your levels checked. Being in a healthy range will help you lose fat and build muscle a lot easier.

So far I have kept with it. I have been slowly trying to build back to what I was. Not expecting to get back into my College Football or deployment shape, due to age. Would like to get in shape enough to try out for one of the semi-pro soccer teams though.

My oldest daughter wants to start going to the gym with me when she reaches 13. She is one of my kids that I think can excel at sports, as long as she builds her confidence and aggression. She is tough as hell.
