People keep talking about the economy and why businesses are failing, yet they refuse to ignore the elephant in the room. The reason so many national changes are failing is self inflicted. I made most of my money through working through the government and made myself unfireable due to skill set and training. Yet I still have been passed over for one promotion. However, that was a good Ole boy (which are just as bad) and not a DEI promotion. However, the company sees who has the better team and has the higher morale.

They want me to train up for the next promotion and I said "Nah", I can medically retire in a year. Screw them.

Have you noticed the quality drop in the last 10 years too? Like with everything from service to food? Not even just fast food but stuff you buy in the store. Everything is more expensive and the quality is becoming shite. I feel like this has to do with hiring underqualified people at every level. Even Amazon is getting horrific. The amount of things I have gotten that arrived used or broken is insane.

Oh yeah definitely. I noticed Longhorns and Applebee's aint what they used to be. Chipotle and Krystal breaks my heart.

I noticed some cleaning products went down too.

I watched the first season and I am glad I stopped after that cause the director got so mad people loved Homelander that each season got worse and worse, becoming an embarrassment ritual for the poor actor. He apparently poured himself into the role and did amazing as an actor but it was clearly meant to be a mockery of Trump and Christians as a whole. The ending is just so cringe. I am sure you will see memes and hear about it soon.

In other words, unimaginable, not creative and juvenile. That's why modern entertainment remains a dumpster fire, and will continue. Everything created now will be forgotten in a year or so; which is justice. Some things don't deserve to be remembered.
