Help me understand, why is the barney knock off so precious that he can't be parodied


This is what the Chimptopia drama was about and I don't understand

From what I gather, the drama is because it's a new indie show attacking another indie show in its first and only trailer (which obviously hasn't had a chance to prove itself any better yet). And it doesn't really say what Chimptopia is about.

But I think people also ran with slagging it because they didn't like the people involved in general.

For what it's worth, I watched the trailer, and I have absolutely no idea what the show is about, so it hasn't moved the needle to make me go see it (which is generally what you want a trailer to do).

Baby deer is back. Had to use my zoom so the pic is fuzzy but the mom isn't around.
