Finished the story. It's very wholesome and very fun. I apparently picked up on the plot twist way faster than my friend who kept insisting I get it.
I still haven't caught 'em all or raised their quality of living in each town to the maximum (all of this brings out further side-quests), but I think I might just put it down for now and keep it as a cozy game to pick up whenever.
