It says they are remaking the trilogy for PS5. There's actually a lot of games in this series. I'd love a ranking list in terms of popularity.
Is the voice of Kratos, really Christopher Judge? Because I'm a huge fan of his. He was amazing on Stargate

I think they are remaking 1, 2 and 3.
I think somewhere in the woke mess that was lost. They changed Halo too. That was always meant to be rooted in Christianity but they didn't like that.
Nah, that got started from a famous fanfic involving Kratos meeting Jesus and then becoming homies with him and such.
Still is, they just toned it down, and I think one of the creators/writers wanted it toned down because Halo was becoming Warhammer 40K lite.
Also, if no one has the recent GoW games are actually pretty good
I heard mixed things. Some people said they hated how they humanized Kratos and made him less ruthless and others said they enjoyed that aspect of it because he was a father. I never played them nor know the story of either of the new titles with the kid.
It made him a better character honestly and even though he was a "father" never acted like one towards Loki, I forgot his name but the boy is Loki as you find out at the end. I was never a huge fan of the orignal GoW, but I really like dthe recent ones so
I would imagine the the new ones were more appealing to people that didn't want as much gore and more story depth?
It just seems like people tend to expect one thing and get another with a lot of modern games, even if the other thing isn't bad it gets negative feedback because it was not what they thought they were buying or what they were expecting to get. That is like ordering fries and getting onion rings. Onion rings are great but when you wanted fries, they can be disappointing.
If I remember right they changed the direction because they wanted a more story driven game than hack and slash with no real meaning. The gore wasn't a problem for must, form what I understand, the main problem was the story got pretty basic and shallow.
Yeah, I have come to the conclusion people just love to complain no matter what.
Social media (especially Twitter/X and Reddit) seemed to have normalized having a negative opinion on everything.
Like my main issue with the game is the stupid cube. It just seems retarded to me. I had no intentions of playing the game anyways, I don't have a PlayStation and they aren't releasing their exclusives on PC anymore.

I'm also not sure of how dialogue is written for the rest of the games, but the bit I gleaned in that scene came off very reminiscent of the Forspoken reveal trailer - so that is something game writers do now.
That game did terribly.
I am sure this one will sell decent but probably not hit the numbers they are expecting.
I know you can find these issues in other games but it seems WAY too common now.
It legit looks like they butchered her face in this scene. Like whoever works on the facial expressions and stuff for the characters doesn't know entirely what they are doing or just didn't bother to check for mistakes. I have seen this a lot in modern games. I don't know if this is down to the software they are using or what but I never see this coming from eastern studios unless it is some low-budget slop.

Also, I think they are going to shoot themselves in the foot with this. Like I said, outside of the cube (which I think is lame) the game looks nice. I like the world, I like the enemies, etc. etc. but they are already dragging politics into it.
