You know, that post was from nearly 5 years ago, so I don't really remember the thought process there. But I also never said it as a fact. I just said "probably", which was based on my observations.

I would still recommend playing Part 1. The ending feels like there is enough closure where you don't have to play the second one. I've replayed it a decent amount of times I like it so much.
