I feel like Vegeta's first SSJ transformation was a big deal.

Imagine if he had unlocked it any later (Or not at all). Things might be very different.

All of Goku's "just in time" arrivals, vs Vegeta & Nappa, vs the Ginyu Force, & vs Frieza were all very definitive moments.

The only one on this list I kind of disagree with our the beam struggles, those honestly never became that big a component of a series, outside of like being featured in the climax of the Cell arc but even then, it's not really introducing a big element of the series. The introduction of the Dodon Ray should've been included instead, the Kamehameha introduced Ki blasts to the series but while Dragon ball was still in it's comedic fantasy roots, it was entirely plausible that the series would continue with this being the only ki blast featured. The Dodon Ray being the first different ki blast technique utilized opened up the possibility of other ki techniques being implemented, and sure enough they were. If not the Dodon Ray, then the ability to fly is a bigger game changer than Ki Blasts.

The rest of the list is pretty accurate though. I know Gotenks is annoying but he served as the introduction to Fusion as a concept. The list is more about that than anything else.
