While out attempting to blow diesel smoke at a group of cyclists out for a ride, having already done so to a group just down the road from him, a 16 year-old in a diesel truck ran over multiple cyclists, sending two to the hospital via airlift, two more via ambulance, and two more refusing treatment at the scene. The teen in question deliberately pulled in front of one group, accelerated so as to blow smoke at them, and then struck the group in front of him before braking. As of the publication of that article, the teen driver has not been arrested.
Now, I get it, cyclists in a group tend to be a bit dickish, forever proclaiming we need to share the road with them, but never moving over to let cars past; however, this is the stupidest thing you could do to try and be funny, harass them, whatever it was he wanted to do. He could have killed multiple people, he's fortunate none of them were killed at the scene. At best this kid needs to not have a license, there's no excuse for what he did.
