New here! I've watched the franchise since I was 8 (now 30). It came on Cartoon Network at 10:30pm, which was way past my bedtime at that age, but I stayed up late to watch it. I read all the manga and bought the DVDs so that I could catch-up on what was happening.

Vegeta has always been #1 for me and Trunks a close second. I had DBZ themed birthday parties, wrote cringey fanfiction, and drew the characters. When I was 25, I got to meet Chris Sabat at NYC Comic Con and I cried after talking with him (seriously, in public).

The show got me through a lot of loneliness as a child, teenager, and still as an adult. Happy to find other like-minded nerds who still fanboy/fangirl over the franchise.

I'm considering starting my fanfic again as a creative outlet, in case anyone is interested. I could post the link if/when it happens.

Welcome buddy.

I actually hated my brother for loving this cartoon called dragon ball z when I was 9.

When I was about 12 I started watching it and fell in love with it immediately.
