I remember watching the first one and enjoying it. I don't think I saw 28 Weeks later. I think at that point I was already done with the horror genre.

This looks pretty interesting. I think they intended on this being released a while ago but it kept getting pushed around.

 
I saw it via a reaction video... 28 days later was ok. Weeks was ok.

And as for the delays, I think this was going to release during pandemic. And I think for good reason.

I wonder if it got pushed back cause of the planned origin story...

"We have traced the virus coming from Wuhan, China near some biolab... Must of been people eating bats!"
