I'm not looking to turn this into a gun debate or anything like that, I like that our police in the UK don't all carry guns (I do think more of them should be armed with tazers, however), but that's neither here nor there for this thread. I just think it's amazing what a lot of cops in the UK (and other countries where they don't all carry arms) go through on a regular basis, even some funny bits, and I just think they're worth a look. Brave to run into some of these situations the way they do.
Officer assaulted by man he's arresting:
Officer breaks finger as suspect breaks away from him (funny: gets a lift from a cab)
One of the knife attacks on London Bridge, unarmed officers AND civilians going after knife wielding lunatics.
Driver attacks officer with a machete in an attempt to resist arrest.
