My favorite movie of the Original Star Wars Trilogy has always been Return Of The Jedi, but I MUCH PREFER the PRE-2011 VERSIONS OF THE MOVIE WITHOUT THE SHITTY "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" coming from Darth Vader when he kills the Emperor at the end of the movie.

I liked the original, A New Hope, because it was a sort of self-contained story at first, which turned into the trilogy, so I enjoyed it for what it was. Empire Strikes Back has always been my least favourite of the three, though.

The Empire Strikes Back has always been my favorite because it shows the follow-up consequences to a storied and heroic victory in A New Hope. The Empire, Darth Vader acting as physical manifestation of their malice, was seriously pissed off at the brash Rebel Alliance and oh did they pay for their transgressions.

I like return of the jedi such a good finale (until disney)!

I watched all three. I am guessing I watched each one at least twice and I remember liking the second one to the most.

Haven't watched any of these movies since the days of the VHS but back when I did, Return of the Jedi was my favourite. Maybe it's just because it was the last one, but it's the most memorable to me.
