I've come to a point in my life where I've reached my current life goals, and that is that I bought everything major that I wanted at the moment. Since I've had a big problem with saving money as well as buying and selling my items, that kept me from reaching this goal for the longest time. I recently realized that the two also go hand and hand, and if I stop spending money on material possessions, I will stop selling them as well.

However, I need to climb a bigger plateau. I don't have very many ambitions in my life, but one thing I want to accomplish now is sustaining myself, at least under my immediate family's roof for now. For that to happen I need to set future goals for myself again, including money management. Any advice?

Start monitoring your income/expenses and see how much you spend/save each week/month. Then use that to figure out if you can afford rent/utilities/food if you were to move out on your own (and even more so, that you're saving a reasonable amount of money every month). Look at rentals in your immediate area and see what they average at and factor that all in.

Go big on your career and go beyond what YOU think you're capable of because you're probably being humble. No more service industry for you. Time to either educate yourself on an attainable goal like a trade or continue the mundane. The choice is most definitely yours.

I'll look into a trade school when I move.

I want to build my dream video game. It costs money.
For now, though, I am a video game writer - that's my title, but in all actually, I own a network of gaming sites.
My ambition is to grow my brand enough to make my dream a reality.
In the future, I'll have a dual "job," a writer (journalist), content creator/streamer.

@India Actual, should I get a better job other than the service industry in the mean time?
Depends on some factors. How much time are you willing to commit to your job? How much effort are you willing to commit at your job? Does it require any training or special skills? I would always vote for moving past the service industry unless you plan to make it a career by becoming management in a large franchise.

I still say pick a trade, we sorely need tradesmen/women in those careers. They're not "easy" jobs, but they pay very well due to demand. Also if you apprentice with some companies and commit to working for them they might help you go to said trade school. Lots of avenues to explore!
