It's the in thing now, for sure. Almost positive a lot of them claim one of those absurd labels just to be part of the "I'm not normal!!" trend. Look at Demi Lovato. "I'm gender non-binary, because I'm specials!" Two weeks later: "I'm a woman and I'm specials!" Wasn't really non-binary or confused about her gender identity, just wanted the label, until she got the consequences of being outside of the norm.
It is a trend and will die off eventually. We just have to deal with it for a while. The letting your kids identify as animals thing has got to stop though. ffs there are kids using litter boxes in school!
