I remember very VIVIDLY the night the Adult Swim block aired for the VERY FIRST TIME when I was 6-years-old and watching reruns of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? (I believe?) until SUDDENLY all the kids shows I loved watching on Cartoon Network STOPPED AIRING and I started seeing these WEIRD bumpers that took place in a swimming pool and I was hearing this random lifegaurd telling us kids to "GET OUT OF THE POOL." (I didn't LOL).

The shows I remember watching when Adult Swim first launched was Home Movies and The Brak Show even though I was so young when they came on. I also liked watching Space Ghost Coast To Coast during it's last years during this time. But I didn't really start watching much more of avid viewer of Adult Swim as a kid until 2004-2005.

I can't believe we're in an era where we can watch TV shows anytime on Hulu or Netflix, and not just on a set schedule on a network.

I used to watch Space Ghost Coast to Coast, The Brak Show, Home Movies, Aqua teen Hunger Force, Robot Chicken, Venture Bros, Sealab 2020, Frisky Dingo, The Boondocks, Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, Moral Orel, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, and many others. I watched from like 2002 to 2008. So I was 14 when I started and 20 when I stopped.

I can't believe we're in an era where we can watch TV shows anytime on Hulu or Netflix, and not just on a set schedule on a network.

Yeah, Adult Swim also also Futurama even more popular after the block started airing reruns of the show, which convinced Comedy Central to pick it up and make new episodes for the show.

Though Futurama already had a fanbase before Fox decided to cancel it and Futurama was more popular than Family Guy during both shows' original Fox tenures.

Can't claim to be a religious watcher but Adult Swim has really been a part of my life for most of it, huh? Right now the only thing on there I bother with is Rick & Morty, but it's where I first discovered Futurama & Family Guy, and Futurama is one of my favourite shows of all-time. Another syndicated show it introduced me to that not everyone knows of is The Oblongs, really fun show that only got a criminally short 13 episode run. Would've rather that come back than Family Guy (assuming they could've still got Will Ferrell to voice the dad at least, he was great there).

The original programming had some gems, The Brak Show, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Frisky Dingo, Boondocks, & Harvey Birdman where all great from what I saw of them. But the best original show they ever did was either Aqua Teen Hunger Force or Home Movies, I'd probably lean towards Home Movies being the best myself.

And of course, it aired some anime, most prominently Cowboy Bebop & Fullmetal Alchemist. Cowboy Bebop is an easy top five anime, and few anime are as important to my journey as an anime fan than FMA. Guess I owe a lot to that programming block.

Okay, so I did watch my anime shows on Adult Swim cause I watched DBZ, Cowboy Bebop, The Big O, and others in a specific block. So I guess I started watching in 2001 since it began with anime.

Pretty sure Cowboy Bebop's been on Adult Swim since it first started. I remember it like, always being on, though it wasn't until 04 that I watched it.

Also remembered Adult Swim is how I got introduced to Case Closed/Detective Conan. Definitely my favourite anime that I will never ever finish because I'm pretty sure that show will outlive all of us. I'm never even finished the dub.
