This is why you declaw your cats.
That is animal abuse and the US is working toward outlawing it country wide like the UK.

I worked as a vet assistant. When a cat is declawed, their nerves are damaged and their bones are broken off. It is like taking the first bend of your finger and removing it entirely. It is an out-dating practice that causes cats both physical and psychological damage.

This came up in my Facebook feed just now. This pic is 12 years old when me and my wife were just starting out. That was her hound, Baxter, whom had the coolest howl. The orange kitten was, Milo. I found him on the side of the road early in the morning on the way home from work. The tabby kitten was Diva, who was a kitten from the litter the Cat (Mama) at her parents home. I do miss these babies.
