I just use vegetable oil, tastes better

Sunflower oil or vegetable oil work best, but olive oil can work, sure. Might give it a slightly different taste to what's intended, but so long as you follow the recipe (maybe use slightly less olive oil than what it suggests, just because it's typically a little thicker than vegetable oil) it should still come out nice!

We ordered an entire roast pig. My wife cooked the rice and gandules, I made mac n cheese, she made arroz con dulce which is like a sweet dessert rice and coconut pudding. Took all this over my friend's house and we had a little co worker get together while wearing Christmas onesies. I hope you like our banner.

My friend's house who I was over is Puerto Rican from the island as is Mrs. India Actual. I let them have their little Spanish-y fun.

I had a good Christmas. I liked my Christmas gifts and I liked my meals. I spent time watching Anime with my Aunt. She enjoyed it and I'm going to try and get her into the hobby. My aunt in law and blood related uncle couldn't make it to Thanksgiving or Christmas this year because of the lockdown, but hopefully they'll come next year.

That's awesome that you got to share anime with your Aunt! There are some great ones nowadays that can hook people, so good on her for taking a chance and hopefully you can convert her!
