Been playing around with the camera since the phone charged.
Yikes! Hope you managed to get it!! Kill the queen and the rest just bugger off. We've had a wasp buildup of late, as well, not nice!
Caught it with a vacuum (well, Jay did lol) and put it outside in a trash can with a lid on it. I couldn't crush something that big.
As long as it's out of the way, for sure! Don't want to risk that nasty thing getting near the floofs!
Queens away from the nest are apparent docile but if a cat is going after it, I am sure it would not hesitate to defend itself.
Absolutely, you start to go for it, it's going to retaliate!
What got me was how they mistook Cicada Killers for Giant Hornets, lol. Neither post a direct threat to humans, but one is also radically different from the other.
Looking at some pictures.... I think this might have been a murder hornet. What the f are they doing in Ohio!?
The reason people are scared of them is because of their painful sting and their size. I am terrified of just about everything that can fly that isn't a bird. lol
I got it in a cage and looked at pics. Appears to be a European wasp. Still huge and nasty! Damn colonizers!
I just let him go but this was him. Freeloading colonizer!
I only didn't kill it because I found out they eat spiders. Spiders are worse to me. lol
