She does indeed and we've been giving her them routinely specifically to help her memory. They might have slowed down the progression slightly, but she's so far along at this stage that it's very hard to tell.Does you mom like blueberries @Super Kami Guru ??
I ordered a whole food blueberry supplement for other benefits but was reading up on stuff and came across that. If she enjoys them, might be worth giving her some.
Going to try to talk my mom into eating them or taking a supplement cause she is getting worse with her memory the last few years.
I think they need to be eaten daily or you have to drink the juice daily. Supplements might be easier if she is okay to take pills. I got the Sports Research ones for $20 on Amazon. It is a mix of powder and concentrated juice in the capsules. She does indeed and we've been giving her them routinely specifically to help her memory. Yep, we try to do daily, but I'm not in a position to afford things right now, so it's basically one packet of blueberries a week and spread out as much as possible by mixing them into a granola/yogurt mix. Not ideal, but I can only do so much making the pathetic money I make as a caregiver.I think they need to be eaten daily or you have to drink the juice daily. Agreed, we need more studies in general focused on this. That and more kittens. Kittens always help!I hope they do more studies on this. I feel like the increase of these issues has to be down to nutrition and exposure to toxins. I would hate to think that they purposely stifle studies and such that could help people just to make more money but that is the world we live in.
Skin and hair, urinary health, heart health and circulation, and digestion to name a few. What else do blueberries help you with?
My resting heart rate is too damn high.Going to give SIT a try which is sprint interval training. Trying to lower my resting heart rate, improve my recover, and improve my circulation.
I'll see how things go. Based on my research of SIT, I should expect to reduce stress, inflammation, improve circulation, lose weight, tone muscles, stimulate healing and repair (human growth hormone) and more. And it appears that it doesn't hurt my neck or shoulders, or my lower back doing this. This is a first. All other exercise I have tried aggravates something.
I'll come back to this and nag myself if I fail to stick to this.![]()
Mine is 80. The average is 72. Ideal is 50 from what I understand. My resting heart rate is too damn high.
