A nap sounds well deserved after all that. Hoping for the best for you guys. Flooding ain't no joke.
I got a 30 min nap in. I am so sore lol It wasn't as bad, it has been way worse. It just sucks having to deal with it. Have to throw a rug out. Got too wet and is too big to wash.

A house was built next door and because a french drain wasn't put in, all the water gets pushed up against this house now.

When did she start this? After she was pregnant or before? I am just wondering if it is a protection thing.
She's had a very few select incidents in the past few years. But she's probably done it about 3 times in the past 9 months.
Need machines, too many trees. The root system is a nightmare.
Nothing that a good old fashioned shovel won't fix.

Sorry to hear about your wife man.

Yeah, a good shovel always does wonders, and my personal favorite, an ax!

How old is she?

There is no shoveling clay with pine tree roots. I did the front garden bed one year and hit a root and could not budge it. Going to see if the mayor will just fund a french drain being put in.

Oh my apologies. I'm not as sharp as I used to be.
time is a son of a bitch.gif

Almost 10
So she started when she was like 6 or 7 years old?

You know the mayor?
Nah. The guy that bought the land and built the house is a zoning inspector and should have known better so the fault kind of comes down on them. There were talks already but nothing was done cause some road work was being done to help the flooding already. A lot of people complain here cause of the way the land is. Lots of water pockets in yards.

Yeah, probably. Like it really doesn't happen all that often.

I do know if you don't completely clean the area, they will keep peeing in the same spot. If your mattress didn't have a cover, there is no getting it out. And even with neutralizer, it doesn't always help washing bedding. I know from experience with Teddy. Thankfully we got him under control using attraction litter and putting away anything he had previously peed on.

Since it isn't happening often, something minor must be triggering it and it isn't health related. I know you mentioned the cats outside. I am guessing she is just doing it to protect you guys by marking area with her scent. Cats don't always spray, sometimes they just pee to mark zones to keep other animals away. The uptick could be because your wife is pregnant.

Potentially. The one that killed my computer was during a storm, which I think was also the incident the last time she peed on it. But yeah, the others have been bed-related.

We did wash the sheets and cover and change them, so we're all good.

How else are we supposed to play basketball?
