Going to be here for another two years it seems. Kind of a downer, but there's things I can do in the mean time like look for ways to promote to where I want to go.
Ouch, sorry to hear that, but at least it seems like there's still a path to get back, so all is not lost. Unfortunate it's going to take 2 years, though!
I have an application in for another job. So we'll see if that goes anywhere. If not then I'll see what spots open for promotions in the mean time. I think it's about time I start thinking about it after 12 years.

Been watching crypto-related stuff lately and it is nuts. There are projections that Bitcoin will be worth 1 million in a few years because the value of USD is going to drop hard. Imagine buying a handful of them back in 2010. lol

Agreed, I used to joke about how hard bitcoin was going to fail and how I should just buy $100 worth, back when they were near worthless just for shits and giggles...now, geez, I'd be loaded! If only I had the gift of foresight!

Yep, and then you read up on the stories of people who forgot they bought bitcoin back then and suddenly rediscover their accounts to find that they're a lot better off than they were a few days ago...it's amazing how much money some people have been sitting on!It is fun to watch but also depressing at the same time!
