I was studying breeds for a few days. I wanted to find one that would be good for emotional support. I narrowed it down to 4 breeds; bengal, maine coon, ragdoll, and siamese. The bengals and siamese breeds require a lot more training and need to have enough room to burn off energy so we can't get one of those until we move. They are too intelligent and are prone to anxiety and OCD if they are not stimulated enough mentally or physically. They are also territorial (they become very attached to one person). Of the maine coon and ragdoll, both made good options because of their puppy-like nature but maine coons get very large and are more expensive. So we both decided on a ragdoll.
