While we were wandering around shops my wife was like "I wonder if I can buy Japanese light fittings to bring home"... before realising we have to get it home.
We frequent a fried chicken stand when we go to Asakusa (third time now). The couple who runs it is very lovely.
The second time we went (Nov 2024, 8 months since our first visit) they recognised us and first thing they asked was "where have you been?" (we initially thought it was just asking like standard tourist stuff, before realising they recognised us).
Today we just arrived and they were closed. We bumped into them down the street and they initiated conversation with us because they recognised us - after 1.5 years, and my wife has really short hair st the moment.
