From what I understand "Digimon: The Movie" was a (from my understanding, poor) mash-up of three mini-movies that were never dubbed. I've thought about watching them but didn't really want to watch subbed, and never got around to the movie (which also opens with an Angela Anaconda short for some mysterious, yet glorious awesome reason).I never actually watched the movies. I did watch the anime growing up.
Might have to check them out. It has been sooooo long since I watched anything Digimon. From what I understand "Digimon: The Movie" was a (from my understanding, poor) mash-up of three mini-movies that were never dubbed. There was a sequel mini-series 10 years ago, and two sequel movies (for Adventure 1 and Adventure 2) in the past 5. All of these are really good.
They're enhanced by watching Adventure 1/2 first, but if you at least remember enough of the series, you can get away with it. Tri (the mini-series) and the movies basically deal with the notion of the kids growing up, and what that means for the Digimon partners.Might have to check them out.
