Do you think the anime will switch its design?

A lot of people complained about DBS' animation, namely stuff like this:
There was also a lot of praise for the movies and how they looked, both the animation in the Broly movie as well as the latest Super Hero movie.

Do you think they will change it up at all? Would you want them to?

Movies always look nicer because there's more to lose (ie it actually has to look nice to help improve sales). It's also easier to maintain consistency with one team doing a whole movie rather than a few different teams and animators doing different episodes at once. It's not going to happen. It's too expensive.

What I would like more than anything is changing back to the old Z style. The colouring and animation just has no soul to it. It's the same reason I haven't really enjoyed any Disney style since the 90s.

I agree with you. The older animation felt different and I still prefer it. Likely why I don't really get into newer anime.

Definitely. There's some things it has worked for that I quite like (Digimon, Assassination Classroom, FMA Brotherhood), but it's definitely a contributing factor to why I stopped watching Pokémon (the other being the VA changes).

Yes and no. It's a little too bright for me. And of course, the change in some of the VA's (namely Gohan and Frieza), and largely because of the lack of Faulconer score.

I watched it through to the Cell Games after someone fixed the soundtrack by re-adding the perfection of Bruce Faulconer and I think it tells the story a lot better (and the quality is better than the Funimation DVD releases), but I definitely prefer to watch the original run.
