So I just finished episode 15 and I feel like the risk/reward/threat aspects of the show are kind of all over the place.
Like the things Bulma and Shin are being afraid of for Goku and Vegeta is kind of silly. Like those Krakens. Come on now. And considering the Tamagami are meant to be so insanely powerful that no one bothered fighting them yet they make it seem like a struggle for Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo to take down low-level grunts (even needing help) just felt... Ehh. Childish? I guess that is the aspect of the show being more for kids vs adults. The original Dragon Ball had a mix of stuff in it for kids and adults but was clearly more adult themed. As for GT but not as much as DB.
I am still enjoying it and it is feeling more in line with Dragon Ball than anything else but I can't just ignore how OP Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo are even if they are back in child form. I can't just ignore Vegeta going SS3 and then struggling against some electricity guns. lol
Maybe I am just nitpicking. Like I said, I am still enjoying it. More than I figured I would have. I was very close to just skipping it entirely.
