Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO

The game isnt about the story its about versus!
Its just budokai tenkaichi 4!
Granted yes it does cover the z (and super) Story however it does have whatifs and you dont even have to play goku!
(Technically you dont have to touch story mode at all but that might make it difficult tovunlocl everyone!)
oh, vs is boring to me. Pass. lol thanks.

hmmm, yeah, I actually liked all the Budokai's. They still had story elements.
This has several individual story trails you follow (Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, etc.) from the start through to the end of ToP. There are also alternate win conditions you can do that will diverge the story trail (eg Vegeta can turn Super Saiyan and kill Frieza), which will lead to a different what-if story trail.

Perhaps I shall check it out then...

Alright, bought it and not sure how I feel about it.

The controls are confusing as fuck... way too many things to remember, which takes the fun out of the battles. The cut scenes are kinda lame. Just bits and pieces of the story. Visually, it's gorgeous. I'll do more training before continuing the story, but man... not looking that good for me at all. I guess I'm just getting too old.

Like I said, it's very much BT4. They improved a lot from BT3 but it is very similar.

Could be getting old. :haha:

baka.

I'll have to play around in the training some more... but it seems like things were a lot easier in BT3. Like flying... However, that came out like 18 years ago... so memory might be a bit foggy.

Actually, I will meet you there; some of the controls do seem a bit trickier. Especially with keyboard and mouse.

That game is not designed to be played that way! You NEED a controller for that!
(And for bt 4 too)
Little tipp just like in bt 3 you can ignore like 50% of the mechanics and still have have a baseline of competence i for example dont even bother with vanishes (in the bt 4 mod cause i still need a good computer)

I'm not, but Giga Hertz is.

Okay lets set up budokai tenkaichi 4 (mod) online and youll play eith keyboard and mouse and ill play with my bad controller!
SZ, not BT4. BT4 is explicitly a PS2 game and handles like one. Keyboard and mouse don't translate so well in that context.

Don't get me wrong, it doesn't translate super well to SZ, but at least it's passing the keys through directly, rather than trying to emulate a PS2 controller.
