haha not likely. I remember from one of the Xenoverse games where you have a swarm of Metal Coolers you have to defeat. Oh man... I fucking hated that. And my allies were always killed early on.
 
I Technically like the game but im bothered by stuff like:
No playable Earthlings
Too Much focus On Gohan while neglecting Goku
No Costume Customization (/like the Go Gi is on the cover but youll barely wear it!)

Have you guys also played One Piece Odyssey, Fairy Tail, etc? If so, how does Kakarot stack up against them?
 
I know nothing about Fairy Tail, but One Piece Odyssey is (essentially) a completely different game. It's more of a rail-roaded JRPG. There's some areas that are skill-locked that you can come back to, and do other side quests (which I do like), and I definitely appreciate it as a tactical JRPG.

But it doesn't quite hit the same mark as Kakarot. Especially with the contrived "you have to go rescue your memories" and then they only cover like three arcs. It can also really drag on a bit.

I enjoyed playing it (still have yet to finish it), but it definitely came off leaning more towards being a cash-grab than a well-thought-out RPG. And the fact it wasn't dubbed also didn't help me love it.
 
I feel like One Piece video games will be better when One Piece eventually finishes. Eventually... LOL.
 
Kakarot just released a 10GB update, so decided to see what the fuss is about. Honestly, I forgot they announced Daima DLC.

Part 1 will be out sometime around July - September
Part 2 will be out sometime around January - March (2026)

This will actually be interesting to see how they adopt the maps. If it will be spanning, or just relatively small areas like the other DLC. They're charging almost half the base-price for it, so I would hope you get some solid content.

Looks like the update today brought out the following:
-Ultimate Meat Feast
-Mega Sacred Water
-Purple Dino Horn
-Awakening Water

In all honesty, I'm kind of keen, if for nothing else Super Saiyan 4

I'm hoping they get Stephanie Nadolny back for the DLC. That would be GOAT.
