I watched Nintendo and then like skimmed youtube for any trailers that caught my eye, very little did. But Nintendo's what I care about. E3 take-aways for me . . . I. Kazuya in Smash is either exciting or disappointing, but I did like that he was straight-up murdering characters in his trailer. Ganondorf, Falcon, Min Min, Pit, Marth, he tried to murder Kirby but it didn't stick. It's funny to me how most Smash reveal trailers involve murder and that Kazuya had the biggest body count by far. II. Metroid Dread looks sick. I've still yet to really give the 2D Metroid's a shot but Dread definitely bumps it up my list because I love the sort of horror game design approach they're taking with it. III. BotW 2 didn't show much but it looks cool. Still wish Zelda was playable but it's not an 100% de-confirmation. Most interesting thing was they said there is a subtitle for BotW 2 but they're not revealing it because it'll spoil something about the plot, so that's intriguing. IV. Mario Party Superstars is 100% what I've always wanted Mario Party to do. Just a compilation of the best boards and mini-games, pretty excited for that. 5 boards still feels a bit small, but hopefully there's more, or they'll add more for free later. V. SUPER MONKEY BALL BANANA MANIA! This stole E3, the first three Super Monkey Ball games remastered, hell yes, I live for this. I never played the third one, but the first two are so much fun. Just like the Monkey Target mini-game alone is so much fun, my brother & I spent hours in that one mode alone.
