The very foundation of this amazing anime series has been set by the use of the Dragon Balls. These balls, when gathered, will call upon a great dragon to grant wishes. Depending on the balls used, the dragon’s name and appearance are different. But hey, you are reading this because you are a fan so you already know this stuff! Let’s jump into the list then. Here is every wish granted in the Dragon Ball anime series from Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Super (not including GT).
1.) A Pair of Women’s Underwear
In Dragon Ball, the first appearance of Shenron is brought about when Emperor Pilaf is making his wish for world domination. He was interrupted by Oolong with a wish of his own; A pair of women’s underwear. This wish was granted.

2.) Bora is Brought Back to Life
Goku makes quick friends with Upa and his father (Bora), the protectors of Korin’s Tower only to witness Mercenary Tao take Bora’s life. He promises to return with all 7 Dragon Balls so Upa can bring his father back to life. After attaining all the balls, Goku summons Shenron and Upa wishes for his father to be resurrected. The wish was granted.

3.) Wishing For Youth
King Piccolo makes his grand return by taking Krillin’s life to send a message. He later obtains all 7 Dragon Balls with the help of Emperor Pilaf and the gang. He wishes for his youth to be restored. Before making the wish, Chiaotzu tries to interrupt it and is killed by King Piccolo. The wish was granted but before Shenron leaves, King Piccolo kills him to ensure no one else can use his power against him.

4.) Undoing King Piccolo’s Damage
Goku travels to Kami’s Lookout above Korin’s Tower to see if he could restore all the lost lives from King Piccolo’s rampage. He is greeted by Mr. Popo who trains him while they wait for Kami. After his training, he learns the story of Kami and King Piccolo and agrees to remake the Dragon Balls. Bulma and the gang make the wish to bring back Krillin, Master Roshi, and Chiaotzu. The wish was granted.

5.) Goku’s Revival
After sacrificing his life to protect the earth from Raditz, Goku was sent on a journey to meet King Kai in the afterlife. Having made it across Snake Way and fully trained up with King Kai, Master Roshi wishes for Goku’s life to be restored. The wish was granted, however, he had to make the journey back across Snake Way to be sent back to earth.

Dende calls upon Porunga to grant three wishes. The first wish is to restore the life of Piccolo on earth. The second wish is to bring Piccolo to Namek. The final wish was delayed by Kami Guru’s temporary passing. Two of the three wishes were granted before Prounga faded and the Dragon Balls turned to stone.

8.) The Lives Taken By Frieza
Kami and King Kai get Mr. Popo to call upon Shenron to restore all the lives on Namek Frieza and his army took. He struggles at first but the wish is ultimately granted restoring Kami Guru and Porunga on Namek for the final wish.

9.) Dende’s Third Wish
Kami Guru and King Kai decided it was for the best to have everyone on Namek other than Goku and Frieza be sent to earth. Dende went back to Porunga and made the final wish. All three were granted.

Because Krillin died on Namek and Namek no longer exists, his life was sent to Namek’s check-in station. Dende calls upon Porunga on earth to wish Krillin and Goku to the Earths’ check-in station. They find out Goku is still alive. The wish was granted, however, Goku chose not to be returned to earth. Only Krillin is brought back. The third wish made by the gang for Porunga had to be decided among Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu. Tien and Chiaotzu decide to stay behind and Yamcha is returned to life.

After 130 days have passed, Porunga was called on again to restore Chiaotzu’s life for the first wish. This wish was granted. For the second wish made to Porunga, Tien’s life was restored. For the final wish, a new Namek was made and the Namekians who have been staying on earth moved to their new planet. Dende said a tearful goodbye to Gohan as the wish was granted.

16.) The Lives Lost By Cell
17.) Krillin’s Kind Wish
Yamcha wishes for all the lives to be restored that were taken by the hands of Cell. The wish was granted. The second wish they wanted however was not granted and that was to bring Goku back. After restoring all the lives lost by Cell, Shenron is able to grant one more wish. Krillin asks Shenron to make Android 17 and 18 human but he is not able to grant this wish. He instead wishes that the self-destruction bombs in their bodies be removed. This wish is granted.

18.) Vegeta’s Rampage Undone
After being consumed by the evil Majin energy, Vegeta took the lives of hundreds of people at the 25th World Martial Arts tournament. Bulma calls upon Shenron to restore the lives lost by Vegeta’s hand. The wish was granted however the second wish was declined by Goku so the waiting period would be shorter for a future wish.

19.) Earth Restored
Dende travels to New Namek to call upon a much stronger Porunga to restore Earth with everyone on it (minus the evil beings who were killed) after it had been destroyed by Majin Buu. The wish took time but it was granted. Vegeta’s life was also restored.

20.) Buu Erased
In order to allow Buu to live peacefully on earth, Goku calls upon Shenron to erase the memory of Buu from the people of earth’s memory and it was granted. His evil ways were forgotten.

21.) Saiyan God
Goku calls upon Shenron to grant him the wish to bring a Super Saiyan God to earth as Beerus requests but Shenron is not able to do this. Instead, Beerus allows Shenron to tell him how one is formed. While the wish was granted, it was rushed out of fear and it is debated as to whether or not this wish actually counts.

Sorbet comes to earth to use Shenron to bring back Frieza. The wish is granted, however since he had died many years prior, he was only able to return in him pieces. The newer Shenron is able to grant three wishes unless one of the wishes are larger. While Sorbet is deciding on his next two wishes, Shu interrupts by asking for 1 million zeni. After Shu interrupts with the second wish, Mai then wishes for the best tasting ice cream in all of the world. Both wishes are granted.

25.) Piccolo Brought Back
After reversing time and killing Frieza the right way, Goku heads off to use the Namekian Dragon Balls to restore Piccolo’s life. He died earlier saving Gohan’s life once again. The wish is granted off-screen and Piccolo is shown in the closing scenes of the episode.

26.) Universe 6 Earth Restored
This summons Super Shenron using the Super Dragon Balls so Beerus can make his wish for winning the tournament between the two. Beerus decides to show his twin brother Champa some brotherly love and restores Universe 6’s Earth so he can enjoy all the foods created on it.

Zamasu uses the Super Dragon Balls twice in two different timelines. The first is to take over Goku’s body which leads to Goku Black. And the second was to make himself immortal in the other timeline. Both wishes were granted by Super Shenron.

29.) Pan’s Fever
Goku is in the middle of summoning Shenron to wish back King Kai’s life when Gohan runs up with Pan. She has not be able to get treatment for her fever at the hospital so Goku lets him use a wish to cure her of it. The wish is granted.

30.) Android 17’s Wish
After he won the Tournament of Power, Android 17 decided to undo all the destruction and wish for all the universes that were wiped from existence to be restored. This wish was granted in full.
