Dragon Ball Z Favorite Dragon Ball Z Filler

I normally hate filler episodes with a passion, but every now and then I'll come across one I like. One of them that I just watched (so it's fresh in memory) is "A Girl Named Lime".

What makes it enjoyable for me is that Gohan was able to show his good character and be the hero. It was a mellow episode following some of the more tense episodes before we get to the Cell Games. It also brought back an old villain, Tao Pai Pai, who cowered and ran away after Gohan revealed who his father is. The general flow of the episode was relaxing and entertaining.

There are others like this (thought I don't remember them right at this moment). What are some of your favorite DBZ filler episodes?

I thought the filler where everyone has a party at Capsule Corp after defeating Kid Boo was pretty good. Goku getting married to Chi Chi at the end of Dragon Ball was better than them flying off together on the Nimbus Cloud after the 23rd Budokai too.

I really enjoy most of the Cell Saga filler scenes and episodes - the driving episode, the lead up to the Cell Games, the post stuff...

I like some older episodes like HFIL, and Gohan and the robot. A lot of the scenes and episodes really drag on though. I absolutely detest the Fake Names ones.

Probably a hot take, but I love The Garlic Jr Saga. One of the reasons I don’t wanna watch Kai because I don’t wanna miss out on the saga (tho I guess I could watch Kai up til where that would be, watch Garlic Jr, then back to Kai lol)

I like the one where Gohan is getting groceries and takes out that shitty shelter as well as Tao Pai Pai.

I always enjoyed The Other World episodes at the beginning of the Buu Saga.
