Being considered "normal" in many regards is bad today, like just being true to yourself and all. You need to have some trendy mouthful gender identity crisis and play mental gymnastics on social media while listening to terrible music and agreeing with whatever you are being told to agree with to fit in.

I would rather not fit in though than be a clone or pretend to be someone I am not. I am used to not being "cool" and I am okay with that.

I agree, I've also never been cool in my life, being a total outcast in high school and even referred to by anyone who knew me as being my sister's brother than calling me by my actual name (true story). I don't and never have cared about fitting in. I like what I like and I don't care if it's cool or not.
