I agree here. I voted for Trump, and was not a fan of his COVID moves, but he's not a doctor, and he's not Robert Kennedy Jr.

I don't expect him to fix EVERYTHING... I only expect the bare-minimum. And he can't run for another term, therefore nothing to be mad about. These liberals need to chill. You don't know how violence feels. It's not fun.

I agree that anyone being violent needs to chill, goes for everyone, not just liberals. Thankfully they are reasonable conservatives, you folks here seem reasonable, but then again I’m not sure if you all even consider yourself to be conservative. I lean left but I don’t really consider myself to be a liberal. I just want everyone to be treated equally, and have all the same rights, no matter race, sexual orientation, or gender identity. One side favors that a bit more which is why I lean that way. But some on the left are even to crazy for my liking which is why it’s only a slight lean.

I'm a conservative, not a republican and lean more on the side of common sense anarchy mixed with a bit of libertarian lite.

The smaller the government, the better but rules/laws are necessary when there is not one culture, religion, or moral code we all follow. Also, federal taxation is theft and phuck the communists.

Those are my politics. :haha:

For what it's worth, I think most those of us who lean right here would consider ourselves to be conservative. It's just a lot more nuanced than what typically gets portrayed by media.

As far as humanitarian rights go, I want everyone to have the same rights, no question. It's just what gets defined as a "right" gets muddy. I don't think government should have a place in marriage or telling a cake maker that he has to decorate any cake demanded of him. No one has a right to force the guy to do that.

Everyone has the right to getting healthcare at a hospital, and if the government can pay for that, great! But what consitutes healthcare? I don't think elective transgender surgery or abortions are.

Just understand that the far-left doesn't recognize the moderates or moderate-left or even the moderate-right. Just understand this: The far-left considers all of you lumped in with the alt/far-right.

Its far-left vs everyone else. That's their world-view. Don't believe me? Go find Tim Pool/Timcast, he is the disaffected liberal, he considers himself a "left-leaning" person. He doesn't want to associate himself these far-left(ist). So, if you call yourself a leftist, just understand that's your reputation in others eyes.

I'm not trying to argue or be a dick. Its true.

Oh yeah I agree that they shouldn’t be able to make a baker bake a cake. That’s their business to run as they please. Now by government being involved in marriage, I’m not sure what you mean there. Cause I definitely think gay marriage being legalized a few years back was the right call. I can be okay with it not being done in church, 100%. Cause they are plenty of other places to get married. So as long as they have that right, I’m good.

Oh hey I mean I’m not gonna argue with that. Like I said the ones who go way to far left for me, I can’t stand. Same for anyone who goes to far right. To me both of those are to far gone to even have a discussion with and won’t try to meet anywhere in the middle.

It was legalised a few years ago in Australia; there was talk and push from Left-wing politicians that all marriage celebrants should be obligated to perform gay weddings. As you might suppose, a lot of celebrants are Christian ministers who have an issue with that. That's the sort of crap I mean - the more any government sinks tentacles into something, the more restrictive it gets on people who might want to dissent.
 
Really "the right" now includes traditional liberals and moderates.

The left or "leftists" are just people that adhere to multiculturalism communist dogma or "woke" for short.

Yeah see now that yeah I agree shouldn’t be done. Plenty of straight couples get turned down as well at places. Like I could only see an issue if maybe all of them did it. But I’m sure it’s probably like it is here in America, where anyone can get ordained to perform a marriage, correct? So just yeah find someone willing to do it.
