Yeah... That was a bad look. You use those to stop rioters and she got blasted for just standing there. And it looks like he took direct aim too.
Like, I had to watch it a few times and see if I was missing something. All I could see was a car turning but she surely would've gotten out of the way, as it looked as if she was about to look that direction before getting blasted.

Welp another one got hit. A wise man once said, "If you dont want to get shit in your boots, then don't stand in the middle of shit".

California has been a mess for decades. The fact that they have incompetent cops shouldn't surprise anyone.
Some people won't like to hear this, but at this point they are cops like this everywhere. It sucks because they are some great cops out there as well, but they don't get the recognition they deserve, because of the ones out here abusing the badge. Like it's so bad that me and my dad who disagree on so much politically, even agree on that. So many of them don't seem to actually know the law, want to arrest people all the time when they didn't even break any laws. Makes me sad for the actual officers trying to make a difference and trying to keep people safe

My local cops are great but I think when it comes to city areas where there are higher crime rates, the good ones end up quitting cause they don't want to deal with the mess so the city gets desperate and has to hire anyone they can.

I still remember that group of cops targeting that one guy cause the one cop believed he had slept with his wife. I can't remember what city it was in but they were all black cops and the guy they were basically torturing was black as well. That should have gotten way more outrage than it did but because it wasn't a black vs white thing, the media largely ignored it.

Where I live it's not to bad either, but I think it's only like 8 of them? As far as I know I only have have deputies. I'm not in any city limits. But I see so many videos and stories of cops arresting people for failure to ID, when they don't have to, because they didn't commit any crimes. Thankfully alot of them get off, and even a nice payday

I don't even know if I remember that tbh. Shows the coverage it got I suppose that I'm blanking on remembering. So yeah that's sad.

I think we have an elected sheriff in charge. Could be the same case for you. So all the cops end up being good people because if they aren't, it falls back on him.

Yeah it was not covered much at all. I only knew about it because of Twitter. There were people that were pissed but obviously not enough of them. Even if he did sleep with his wife, there was no reason for it. I don't even know if any of them got charged or fired. I would guess not.

Regardless of whether you’re on the left or on the right, I think everyone should agree that rioting is wrong.

You would think that is true. However, both sides will try to justify their sides actions.

We had folks filming our convoy on I-16 yesterday and put it on Instagram saying we were on the way to Atlanta for the Riots. There aren't even protests in Atlanta at this time. Plus we were just driving back from Ft Stewart to our home station because we finished our annual 2 week training.

I think this all started in the 2010s where social justice movements were getting more and more out of hand overtime. These riots in particular are more extreme than anything we’ve seen in a long time.

The summer of love was worse (2020) but this can become just as bad if not worse if they don't control it.

I am just over people protesting, then turning it into a riot, and then people showing up just to loot businesses because they can get away with it.

I would say fortunately I wasn't around for the 2020 Summer of Love, but I was spending a year jumping in between Qatar and Afghanistan.

My biggest fear is that one side will keep escalating and then the other side will just start shooting. Plus, if people are open carrying rifles and such, they will become a target like that Rittenhouse guy. That was a mess and a half there. Not saying I agree with what he did, because neither he nor the three guys he shot should have had their asses out there. Was a combustible element that exploded and could have gotten worse.

I see people saying stuff on the internet they really shouldn't be saying. They will eventually regret what they type. I remember this one Antufa guy (who was an airforce flunkie) posted all over social media himself with a rifle and talking mad noise. He opens the wrong dudes door and got capped. Those postings is basically what got the guy acquitted.
