Yeah, this kind of thing could takes years. I think it's more of a show/symbolic.

I hate war but I feel like the US needs to focus on helping itself at this point.... You know, by opening up the pipeline so we don't end up paying $10 per gallon for gas.

China knows Russia tanking its economy will make their own stronger. Why wouldn't they be cheering? They hate Russia but they hate the US even more and this will help them get a leg up over the US and be number one in terms of the largest economy in the world.

The world will not survive WW3 in this day and age. No one will win. Everyone will perish. Any sane leader knows this. Nobody wins in that scenario.

I want to put this in perspective for those who aren't aware of the facts. World War 1 had approximately 62 million casualties between military and civilians. World War 2 had anywhere between 70-85 million. Now over 100 years after WW1 and over 80 years after WW2 with staggering amounts of technological advancement in the human race to include the military industrial complex. You're looking at billions if not trillions of deaths on a global scale.

So in closing, I hope not.
