Yeah, some whistle blower was spilling details on their trillion dollar spending plan.
This is not going to end well. I know weight loss is not easy but this is not the way.

I accidentally slipped into the rabbit hole of "why won't they make DC a state?!"... has it not occurred to anyone to just shrink the size of DC and incorporate everything else into Maryland and Virginia...?

I think that it has to do with how the voting is set up in the country. I remember someone explaining why it is separate but I can't remember everything. Too tired today lol
Like I get why DC itself needs to be separate, but rather than making its own state, why not extend the state boundaries to incorporate the citizens, just exclude the federal stuff.
They have way other more important things to fix with this mess they call government.
