Hopefully not. I don’t think either party should have 100% control. Check and balances is good.

No, that's good. This means no gridlocks.
Dems had the house, AND the presidency.
Trump won 2016, but had to deal with a Dem house. Gridlocks.
55 is more likely
The current party with Trump is mixed though, this is paving the way to more parties and more options and pushing out the socialists, the neocons, etc.
See I disagree, because when one side has full control, they can easily push anything through, good or bad. They have no one to check them. Like I lean a little more towards the left, but I wouldn’t even want them having full control because they are plenty of things I disagree with from the Democrats.

I just like check and balances. Democrats had full control right? And was that a good thing? Look at the stuff that happened during that time.
They were stupid people doing stupid stuff. Those policies, those laws were passed because they were too ideologically entrenched.
This is not the "gotcha" you think it is. Yes, checks and balances. Sure, but we do not have idiots in this admin atm.
I wasn’t trying to do a gotcha. I guess we’ll see how things go. I just hope they won’t just pass anything and everything. Oh well. Moving on now.

There is no... "We'll see how it goes." We saw the first presidency, Trump boomed the economy, bro. Gas was low. Prices was low.
The reason why the wall wasn't built, is because Trump had the Democrats in the house. COViD response was bad because Dems had the house. Trump didn't get half of the policies done is because of gridlocks. Trump had to argue with Democrats all the time.
Now, I'm not saying we will have easy sailing with Republicans in the house, I'm just saying we'll have a bit easier road. A little bit. There are still RINOs, and new Democrats in the party. So the current Republicans need to clean house. So we're gonna have a bit of a bumpy ride. The first jitters, the first shocks, sticker shocks.
I'm confident we'll be fine.
I'm curious of how Trump will handle the administration with all these variables though. Trump has independents in there, he has Democrats in there, he has a bit of everything.
