Dude, I made a question. Do you have some anger issue or... ? TfSigh.
*points at your chest* YOU hate Trump. You would rather have someone like Kamala.
You said this both in implying and inferring.
A lot of Kamala's voters are usually left-leaning, all the way to the end of that left Wall.
A lot of Kamala voters think they hate Trump. A lot of them are getting this message: He is Hitler. That includes you.
Trump? HE stopped a lot of the issues that went across the world. That includes or included you.
So its both. I try not to say anything because you are stuck in that bubble.
My answer wasn't focused on this social aspect tho, rather, I said this was a smokescreen from the Republicans to gather support from people who wouldn't be benefitted economically under his policy, but do get a sense of hope due to them making a big deal out of those to not discuss what they are truly for --- refer to my example with Elon Musk in Brazil, which has a lot to do with Trump as well since he, as well as Bolsonaro, were in fully agreement with him on that.I get criticizing Elon. I have said things in regard to him resourcing materials for his cars and whatnot. It is something that needs to be changed and I don't fully trust him, no one should. No on should fully trust any of these people (super wealthy, politicians celebrities, etc.)
You have to separate "the republicans" from Trump and the people supporting him. I am not and never was a republican. I never felt like I was represented by anyone in government until now. And honestly, it seems too good to be true. Republicans in the US have been notorious for either doing nothing or just delaying the damage the democrats do. Both of these parties have been infiltrated by scum only looking to benefit themselves. This is what the "deep state" is and why so many people are unifying behind Trump right now. To end this crap.
There are tons of people that fall under the LGBT umbrella that support Trump even more than I do. They know the media has been lying about him because the media is paid and funded by the very deep state Trump wants to remove. This isn't about removing people's rights, it is about restoring true freedom in this country.
Women are not losing their rights. Gay folks are not losing their rights. Trans people are not losing their rights.
The only thing that will be ended in terms of social politics is the invasion of males into female spaces where they should not be such as sports which I 100% agree with and ending "gender care" for minors because it has been proven to be harmful in several countries, including the US but those studies were covered up. That was recently revealed in fact.
Children should not be subjected to experimental drugs and surgeries. Kids do not grasp sexuality at all and teens are not mature enough for it. This is why we have laws in place to protect older people from sexually manipulating minors. That is a whole other thing. My point at large is that no rights are being removed from these people, only a few protections are going to be replaced. Women and children should not be subject to more harm to spare someone else's feelings, period.
I am sure you won't agree with me on that stuff and that is fine. I won't even try to debate that. I am just sick of media manipulating people.
Just remember that American politics is a smoke show. The social issues have been used to play people against each other while the government continues to screw us all over. This is why issues are dragged out and nothing is ever actually solved. The two party system plays tug-a-war with each other and shakes hands and goes out to dinner with their families cause they have largely been in the same bed.
It may not seem like it to people in other countries or people that don't understand how phucked this government is, but I hope in time it will. Our government corruption is the world's corruption and it needs to end.
This all has to happen (removing the deep state) in order for America to not go under. If America goes under, so many nations will be going with it.
I think you make an effort too and I understand that is rare to see people be civil about things, especially online. I don't like arguing or name calling so I do my best to avoid it. If I can tell someone is going to get too heated, I just end the conversation. I don't like negative confrontations lolMy answer wasn't focused on this social aspect tho, rather, I said this was a smokescreen from the Republicans to gather support from people who wouldn't be benefitted economically under his policy, but do get a sense of hope due to them making a big deal out of those to not discuss what they are truly for --- refer to my example with Elon Musk in Brazil, which has a lot to do with Trump as well since he, as well as Bolsonaro, were in fully agreement with him on that.
I'm not from USA, but I'm from America. I don't follow politics as much because it tires me, but I've read enough to have an understanding of USA politics even if I'm not from the country. I'm not living there, but I can read many news, studies, different takes, debates from ppl with different views, data... And also, because the landscape of politics in USA mirrors Brazil A LOT... And it affects people here as well, so there's also a little bit of the feeling as well.
I get where you’re coming from, especially wim concerns to not all ppl who vote for Republicans having the same views. I would never insult someone or be arrogant to them due to it because they can have ,any reasons to vote even if they disagree with some universally bad things. I totally respect that and it’s clear you’re coming from a place of wanting what’s best. But I’d like to add on a few points (I don't intend to "prove wrong" or anything when debating, I take debating as an exchange of idea, not a competition. You won't get me being disrespectful since I know you were never disrespectful nor intolerant towards my position, quite the opposite actually).
First, the concern over rights, many people feel that certain legislative moves may indeed affect LGBT rights or women's rights, even if unintentionally. For instance, changes in healthcare or legal protections can have broad, sometimes unforeseen consequences. Trans ppl, for example, worry that restrictions on healthcare could limit access even for adults. So while intentions might focus on one area, real-world impacts could end up being broader.
On the point of minors and healthcare, while It’s definitely true that we need rigorous standards for any medical care, most mainstream medical organizations in the USA, like the American Academy of Pediatrics, approach gender-affirming care very cautiously and recommend it based on age-appropriate, individualized assessments. Most treatments for minors are actually non-invasive or reversible, like counseling or puberty blockers, which simply pause puberty without causing lasting changes.
And about “male invasion” of spaces like sports—I agree it is a complex issue. Tho also, lot of people support making sports fair for all but also recognize that trans athletes aren’t always dominating as some narratives suggest. Studies show that cases of trans women significantly outperforming others are rare, and in some sports, it’s about finding balance so that everyone can participate safely and fairly. And going to my point about the far right media making a fuss about it, there's the example of the boxer in the Olympics, in which many false information with no basis at all were spread. Musk posted on Twitter about a "men beating a women". All the narratives were proven false and the only study from the boxing commission --- that no longer existed --- that assumedly backed some of that up was never released to review.
I respect your point of view on protecting certain groups, I think the ways Trump, Musk, etc go on solutions do not genuinely respect and protect everyone’s rights and safety, and end up inadvertently limiting freedoms for specific groups.
And about wars, they are the most tragic and saddest thing to happen. I'm in fully support to stop them, it saddened me when I followed the Israel Palestine war to the point I needed to stop reading about that. But a reminder that Trump and Musk endorses Israel figures like their PM..... Which is pretty sad to me.
Edit: but yeah, just as I had said that you were never disrespectful, I think you are maybe among the 1% I've talked politics with, that know and care about politics and follow it a lot and were very nice and tolerant, so that's why I like to put more effort into my posts when talking with you --- since it's so rare to see someone so respectful like you towards different views in current politics. You are a big example on how to read, care and follow politics a lot in a way that should be done, showcasing your points, backing them up and being pretty civil. I wish ppl were like this irl so I'd feel comfortable going deep into politics discussions with them. You're a very good example of how people should act with politics and differing ideologies, huge respect.
If you think I have anger issues, I don't want you out here coming out with jabs like this...Dude, I made a question. Do you have some anger issue or... ? Tf
Got it? Because 1. You just insulted me. I'm not stupid, I'm not THESE people...Some comment I wrote on neoseeker (hope it doesn't offend Mr. Sensitive Cell here)
Pfft. Psh. (No, they didn't.)IMO the Republicans in power and Musk never really cared much about LGBT, Women's right ""being pushed too far"" and social issues like those. They incite the voters to care and cause harm to them, but both as a smokescreen to hide his true economical agenda by getting votes from poor ppl that would be even worse off their economical plans, thus pandering to many traditional values, targeting many voters who are part of this new religious wave that's associated with the new far right... There in, strategically getting popular votes.
Y'all under a big fat boot ...you realize that..? Right? The government as I understand it from where I sit... in United States. How I understand it... is y'all have RESTRICTED internet. Only the government decides what you can see, and what you can't. Egro... Starlink.Like in Brazil, when the current government was against Musk companies causing environmental impact in Amazonia, an area heavily regarded as a must keep from being explored (even more than it already was) and deforestation... So then it angered Musk and he switched the focus by going on a tangent and hammering ideals that would gather support from the far right like raising unfounded suspicions about the last elections being unfair against Bolsonaro, that the Justice system prevented Bolsonaro from winning and all...
... Which avoided him to address the main point that caused him to turn against the actual government... Since he knew Bolsonaro is way more open to letting him have his companies here with little to no regulation.
I'm sorry, but these people are lying to you. 90% of the media that anyone consumes... is bought and paid for by the left. Here in U.S. We have thousands and thousands of channels... but they're owned by 5 corporations. In North Korea there's only one. In Puerto Rico... and I have traveled to Puerto Rico. They have only a few channels.. my good lord. Y'all don't realize how wrong many people are. Puerto Rico has a lot of resilient people, hard working people, but some are so stupid... they'd reject being owned by U.S."Beyond the free speech debate, Musk's companies, particularly Starlink, have faced regulatory challenges in Brazil. The Brazilian government has expressed concerns about Starlink's rapid expansion and potential dominance in the satellite internet market. Investigations by Brazil's federal audit court and telecom regulator Anatel have been initiated to assess Starlink's operations and its implications for national sovereignty.
Additionally, Brazil has been exploring partnerships with other satellite internet providers to reduce reliance on Starlink. For instance, the government has engaged with China's SpaceSail to establish services in Brazil, aiming to diversify its satellite internet options"
I got news for you... The minerals are very hard to access than you'd think."Musk's company, Tesla, has shown significant interest in Brazil's mineral resources, especially lithium and nickel, which are essential for electric vehicle batteries. Brazil possesses substantial lithium reserves, notably in Minas Gerais, making it a strategic location for Tesla's supply chain. In May 2022, Tesla secured a long-term contract with the Brazilian mining company Vale for nickel supply, underscoring Musk's focus on Brazil's mineral wealth.
Musk's Starlink has rapidly expanded in Brazil, particularly in the Amazon region. While this expansion has improved connectivity in remote areas, it has also raised concerns about facilitating illegal activities, such as unauthorized mining and deforestation. Brazilian authorities have expressed apprehension that Starlink's technology could be misused to exploit the Amazon's resources without proper oversight. "
I just am going to laugh. Because you really are brainwashed. After I posted the video, you still are in this mindset. This is why I gave up arguing with you.So the free speech banner Musk puts on, as well as the "social chaos" have a lot to do with his economical interests when looked deeper imo...
And a note that the long-term contract secured with Tesla and Brazilians' mining companies was all under Bolsonaro's rule... Which changed when Bolsonaro lost... Which paints to me a very strong picture of what Musk, Trump as well as far right main Republicans from the USA, are actually on... While not caring but at the same time inciting hate and harm towards LGBT, minorities, the "freedom of speech"... That is, freedom of speech as long as it says what they want to be said... But it creates a fake social chaos that serves to pander to whoever wouldn't be benefitted economically but connects to that "something must be off since we are doing so bad -- society!!!"... and this focus also serves as a central theme to hide their real interests...
I already talked about this so I'll just skip here.I get criticizing Elon. I have said things in regard to him resourcing materials for his cars and whatnot. It is something that needs to be changed and I don't fully trust him, no one should. No on should fully trust any of these people (super wealthy, politicians celebrities, etc.)
He doesn't realize that Brazil has the same issues we have. I saw a documentary on Netflix of all places... talking about Venezuela. How it came to pass. What happened. What you just saw in the last 4 years? Take that, and fucking multiply it by 5. Ok? Maduro? That idiot put the country in such peril that it makes Joe Biden's inflation look tame. It looks tame. You have to separate "the republicans" from Trump and the people supporting him. I am not and never was a republican. I never felt like I was represented by anyone in government until now. And honestly, it seems too good to be true. Bingo. She gets it.Women are not losing their rights. Gay folks are not losing their rights. Trans people are not losing their rights.
Once again she gets it.The only thing that will be ended in terms of social politics is the invasion of males into female spaces where they should not be such as sports which I 100% agree with and ending "gender care" for minors because it has been proven to be harmful in several countries, including the US but those studies were covered up. I am sure you won't agree with me on that stuff and that is fine. I won't even try to debate that. I am just sick of media manipulating people.
Politics here is far more complicated, and complex than most countries, except Europe, because there is a council system there, too. With a bit of monarchy.Just remember that American politics is a smoke show. The social issues have been used to play people against each other while the government continues to screw us all over. This is why issues are dragged out and nothing is ever actually solved. The two party system plays tug-a-war with each other and shakes hands and goes out to dinner with their families cause they have largely been in the same bed.

The word "Recession" was changed, because they wanted to ignore it. But we have been in Recession since that day. We have been in recession for over 2 years. COVID was a soft recession. I call this recession a 6 year recession.Trump is not going to take away people’s rights to be gay, LGBT or rights away from women. He is not going to take away people’s rights to be liberal, an anarchist, a communist or socialist In America or whatever. No President has the power to do that. We live in a democracy where everyone can believe and live the way they want regardless of who is in power.
Trump will definitely be a more conservative President and have a much more conservative administration than the one we’ve had in the last four years mind you, but I don’t think people get that Trump won because people have been utterly sick of the puppet show that has run Washington in the last four years. Also, inflation has been a big issue in the last four years, the left has completely ignored that.
